The Expo Park will be open from 09:00 to midnight daily.
National pavilions will be open from 09:30 to 22:30.

 

Visitors, staff and event guests are being encouraged by the organisers to use public transport to reach the Expo park. Metro lines, buses, taxis and ferries will be available. Please see the below diagram for Metro stations and entrance points in the park.

 

Once at the park, electric buses and metro will be available for internal transport along with ferries to cross between Pudong and Puxi. Please see below for bus routes around the park. The car park is located outside the enclosed Expo Park area. From initial research the fastest and easiest way to reach the UK Pavilion for those residing in Puxi would be to travel to Xintiandi metro station and then take Metro Line 13 down two stops to the Expo Park Station. Once in the park guests have the option of a 15 minute walk to the Pavilion or using the Puming Road Bus line.

 

Please note exact details still need to be confirmed by the Expo Bureau. Under certain conditions free entrance will be offered for the National Day activities, special visitors and VIP guests. A special entrance will be provided for VIPs which will allow for private parking, quick access and in the park VIP golf buggy transportation to the UK Pavilion.

Those currently identified as VIP’s by the Bureau include government officials, celebrities, sports stars and certain company Chairmen. All VIP’s will need to be registered with the Expo Bureau prior to their arrival to allow for security clearance and transportation.

 

Visitors are encouraged to use public transport to reach the Expo Park. Once at the park bus services will be available for inside the park.
